Quote of the Day (and perhaps the decade)…

“We had no domestic attacks under Bush. We’ve had one under Obama.”

– Rudy Giuliani

How easily they forget… especially when they have spent eight years mentioning 9/11 20 or 30 times in every speech. Thanks to Talking Point Memo.

  1. Well, there’s 9-11 itself and I think that one counts as a domestic terrorists attack.

There’s anthrax (why does everyone always forget that?)

    There was Richard Reid.

And, according to the Bush admin, there were dozens of thwarted attacks (like the one that tried to come over the Candaian border in the Pacific Northwest). And since Christmas Day was a ‘thwarted attack’ . . .

Where the hell do they get off saying stuff like this? And Rudy Guilianni???? The guy who – against the advice of his police and fire chiefs – located the emergency ‘war room’ in the Trade Center AFTER the 1993 attacks.
