Cartoon(s) of the Week – So where did the tax cut extension proposal come from?

Kevin Siers in the Charlotte Observer:

So who ran the discussions on the tax cut extensions?

– and –

John Sherffius in the Boulder Daily Camera:

Perhaps it was Mitch McConnell who influenced Obama

– and –

Rob Rogers in the Pittsburg Post-Gazette:

… or maybe it was Boehner who decided the rich were worth more than the overall economy…

– and –

Jim Morin at the Miami Herald:

The Great Mike Luckovich in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

Whew… There were probably more that I didn’t catch… if so, let me know. There’s only so much Sarah Palin I can put up with (and still have room to hear Letterman at night.)

Cartoon of the Week

This is a last minute change… I had another cartoon picked out, but I was bowled over by this Mike Luckovich masterpiece in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

I’m also impressed on looking back over the past few years on how many times Mike Luckovich has been the artist on my Cartoon of the Week. He really catches the way we feel about the newsworthy incidents that we must think about in order to keep going.

Tim Goheen at McClatchy Tribune:

Well, as long as he explains what he meant…
