Diet Report

It’s been a while since I reported on my weight loss progress.

Well, I’m down 42 pounds and pushing to 45… hopefully by the end of the first week in August. I’m at the last hole in my belt for the buckle to grab… I’ll have to punch a couple more holes in it so my pants don’t fall off.

The picture above makes me realize how much further there is to go.

  1. Okay, Bill, how are you doing it?

    • When I started the diet last November my wife and I adopted Veganism as our eating lifestyle… that had a great deal to do with it. Then my Endocrinologist added a medication called Byetta to my blood sugar control situation (I’m a type 2 diabetic) and, for the past 5 months that I have been taking it, I’m just not hungry most of the day (this is an acknowledged side effect of Byetta, according to its documentation.)

      I exercise on our elliptical trainer and I walk our dogs two or three times a day… that helps. And our town house is narrow and on three floors, so I’m going up and down stirs three or four times a day… they never bothered putting a bathroom on the middle floor where the kitchen and living room are. That’s my step exercise.

      Put it all together and that’s how I’m doing it.
