I like this weeks comics, in some respects it is tragic that the Vietnam war and Afghanistan war are becoming so similar. I think that we have to realize that the problem began with Bushes reckless abandonment of the critical Afghan/Taliban problem to cavort with the Iraq revenge drama he ran rough-shod over.
We are now left with a true mess – with all the economic problems – again, Bush mess#2. I only hope that all thinking persons gives a very progressive congressional outcome this election and we give the President a real unbreakable majority.
